Set up Pronto on your phone
Once you’ve signed up for a Pronto Mobile plan (including our 15-day Free Trial plan), a QR code for your Pronto eSIM will be sent to you by email with set up instructions. It is also available to you at any time in your my.prontomobile.com account, along with activation codes for both iOS and Android should you prefer or have issue scanning your QR code.
The process is as follows:
- Scan the QR code: Display the eSIM QR code on another device or use a printed copy. Ensure your phone has a stable Wi-Fi connection. Open your phone camera and scan the QR code. Follow the on-screen instructions to install your eSIM.
- Download the Pronto Mobile app: You’ll find the Pronto Mobile app available for free download here for iOS and here for Android. Login using your Pronto phone number included in your Subscription confirmation email. We'll send you a text you a verification code to that number so you can complete login—so be sure you've completed step #1 first.
- Verify your set up: It’s a quick and easy process. Here, we walk you through each step and track your progress, right in the Pronto Mobile app. The in-app instructions are customized to your phone type, but you can also find them on our website if you prefer. Trialing Pronto or using Pronto as a backup service? We also include instructions on how to use your current phone number and carrier plan for voice and Pronto for data. Your Pronto phone number is always available in the app if your current carrier ever lets you down.
