Texting with Pronto
Use your iOS or Android native messaging app to send and receive text messages as you always do.
To send and receive iMessages on the iPhone:
- Go to Settings > Apps > Messages and confirm your Apple ID email is checked under "Send & Receive"
- Ensure that your Apple ID email is checked under “Start a New Conversation From”
- Ensure your device is updated
- Ensure that the date and time are set to automatic.
IMPORTANT: To ensure delivery of your text messages, be sure to include the country code of the number you are texting (“+1” in the case of US and Canada).
NOTE: RCS messaging support is a planned enhancement.
