Set native phone dialer to use Pronto

If you can make calls using the Pronto Mobile app, but not via the phone’s native dialer, ensure Pronto is set up as your default calling app:

  • iOS: Go to Settings > Apps > Default Apps, tap “Calling.” Choose Pronto Mobile from the list. 
  • Samsung: Go to Settings > Apps > Choose Default Apps > Phone app. Choose Pronto Mobile from the list. 
  • Google: Go to Settings > Apps > Choose Default Apps > Phone app. Choose Pronto Mobile from the list. 
  • Other Android phones: Go to Settings > Apps (or Apps & Notifications) > Default Apps (or “Advanced” then “Default apps”) > Phone app. Choose Pronto Mobile from the list. 

NOTE: The Pronto Mobile app must be installed. If you can’t find the Phone app, use the Setting search bar and search for “default apps.” If you need to get the Pronto Mobile app, you can download it here for iOS and here for Android.
