Meet Our Builders

When we thought about the ultimate test before Pronto goes public, the CoverageMap.com community came to mind. These aren't casual mobile users. These are tech and wireless enthusiasts who help crowdsource real-world carrier performance data producing granular by-carrier signal strength and coverage data, nationwide. This is a group that knows exactly where mobile service fails and why.

Our beta test results were clear: we've done it! We've got all the networks and real-time switching working. This next phase is about working together to optimize the experience in two key areas:

Switching Frequency: Coverage can be so variable that if we relied on basic rules, switching frequency might be too high and not necessarily deliver the best user experience. We've developed a robust framework for managing switching that considers what phone services are currently in use, what we know about coverage where the user is, and much more. Our Builders will give us the data and qualitative feedback we need to perfect this.

Reporting to You: While Pronto's automatic switching means you can set it and forget it, we want to earn your business every month. We'll be working with our Builders to determine the right timing and content in our Pronto Report Cards and real-time notifications, as well as most important preferences for you to manage your experience.
