This policy is effective as of March 1, 2026, and last updated on May 14, 2026.
At Pronto Mobile, we retain customer and network information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, protect our network and customers, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. This policy supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Information We Retain
Depending on the services used, Pronto Mobile may retain the following categories of information:
- Account registration information, such as name, email address, telephone number, and billing information
- SIM and eSIM identifiers, including ICCID and IMSI information
- Device identifiers, such as IMEI numbers
- Service activation and deactivation records
- Billing, payment, and transaction records
- Customer support communications and account history
- Call Detail Records (“CDRs”), including calling and called numbers, timestamps, duration, and related routing information
- SMS and messaging metadata, including sender, recipient, timestamps, and delivery status
- Mobile data session records, including IP address assignments, session timestamps, APN usage, and data usage information
- Network authentication, security, fraud-prevention, and abuse-monitoring logs
- Porting and SIM-swap authorization records
- Emergency services and E911 registration records where applicable
Pronto Mobile generally does not retain the content of telephone calls or SMS messages except where required for troubleshooting, lawful requests, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
Retention Periods
Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, legal requirements, contractual obligations, fraud-prevention needs, and operational requirements.
In general:
- Billing and financial records may be retained for up to 7 years
- Subscriber account records may be retained for up to 7 years after account closure
- Call Detail Records and messaging metadata may be retained for up to 24 months
- Network, authentication, and security logs are typically retained for shorter operational periods unless needed for investigations or legal compliance
- Certain records may be retained longer where required by law, legal process, regulatory obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or security investigations
Account Closure and Data Deletion
When an account is terminated, Pronto Mobile may continue to retain limited information necessary to:
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
- Respond to lawful requests and subpoenas
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Resolve billing disputes and chargebacks
- Enforce our agreements
- Maintain network and service integrity
When information is no longer required for these purposes, Pronto Mobile will delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of the information in accordance with applicable law and our internal data management practices.
Third-Party Service Providers
Pronto Mobile works with third-party vendors and infrastructure providers that may process or retain information on our behalf, including providers of:
- Billing and payment processing
- Mobile network infrastructure
- Fraud prevention and security services
- Customer support systems
- Cloud hosting and data storage
These providers are contractually required to safeguard customer information and use it only for authorized purposes.
Security
Pronto Mobile uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect customer information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Change to This Policy
Pronto Mobile may update this Data Retention Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
